I am going to use this blog to show my current and past 3d models that I have made. Hopefully I can get feedback from friends and maybe I can post some of the things I have learned. I have had a website in the past but I found it wasn't very easy to update as much as I wanted... Plus this is free and it is very convenient and practical to use. My New Demo Reel

90% of my 3D models were made in Zbrush... Base Models where created in Maya. All Comped in After Effects.

-Statue based on Laocoon.

-Robot "Off World Trader" Original Concept based on image from book 50 Robots to Draw by Keith Thompson.

-Bird man character original concept by Melissa Workman.

-The Tormentor(the man with tentacles coming out of his back) was done for a contest at Mind Storm Labs. A concept character sheet was used that was provided from Mind Storm.

The rest came from my imagination:)

I uploaded some pics of some models on Flickr, you can see the full size if you click on photo link below the picture. The photo browser is a bit tricky in some web browsers so instead of clicking on the small thumbnails it helps to just click on the bigger picture and it will automatically load the next pic. I have also noticed problems with my layout on Internet Explorer so I guess you can say that this is site was composed for Firefox and Safari. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Wire frame on displacement



I am trying to use the contour simple shader to render out a wire frame over my displaced character but it isn't working very well. It turns out that the character isn't able to render the wire frame because of his approximation node. So here is one character with the approx. node and one without.

Start My Final Projects

I start demo reel creation next month finally!!! Hopefully all my ideas get approved so I can knock this out of the park and get a job. I am really excited and I can't wait to get started.Hopefully I can update this with some of the progress, so to start of here is a quick sculpt of Batman I did today.

I am back in School!

Back at Full Sail for about 3 months now and I haven't had time to model anything. I haven't even had time to relax. Next month things should slow down and I can get back to doing some modeling, I can't wait! I have been keeping up with rendering and I found out a new way to use reflections on misss_fast_skin using mia_material. It's very simple to use and has extraordinary results.
